BCBA TEDI

After serving in the Army for 4 years as a human intelligence specialist, Tedi Teabout went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from South University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She went on to receive her master's in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in behavior analysis from Wayne State University. Tedi is currently attending The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), San Diego campus, where she is pursuing her doctorate degree in clinical psychology. Tedi first worked as a behavior technician in 2014, working hands-on with clients before moving into a supervisor/ analyst position. Tedi has gained first-hand knowledge by working her way from technician to board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) across multiple settings to include clinical settings with University Pediatricians Autism Center, home settings with companies such as Behavior Frontiers and Positive Behavior Support (PBS), and school settings as support staff, to name a few. After earning her BCBA in 2017, Tedi went on to establish ABA Adaptive Services, based in the San Diego, California area, where clients of all ages and varying diagnoses receive behavioral therapy in a clinical setting, home settings, and community settings. Tedi has experience working with young children, teens, and older adults. In addition to these activities, Tedi has traveled to Africa performing applied behavior analysis (ABA) related services, including psychoeducation, assessment, and behavior skills training (BST). Tedi is also scheduled to travel to Dubai in December 2021, with TCSPP to work alongside clinicians at an Autism center there. Tedi's love for ABA and travel has prompted her to establish ABA Adaptive Services International in 2020, a non-profit organization whose focus is to provide behavioral information to local communities and abroad.
